Traditional Irish Dance For Everyone

We are a performance-focused Irish dance school dedicated to bringing out the best in our students through disciplined training, exciting performing opportunities, and encouragement from the school's community of dancers, parents, and teachers.

Students go through a structured curriculum designed around traditional Irish dance, covering material in:

• soft shoe techniques
• hard shoe techniques
• traditional solo Irish step dances (reels, jigs, hornpipes)
• traditional group Irish dances (ceili, figure)
• Irish culture and traditions

Students advance through the curriculum by passing graded exams that cover the traditional material for their level.

Students also learn and perform modern Irish dance choreography to modern Irish music. This style of Irish dance is found in popular Irish dance shows like Riverdance and broadens the student's creative application of Irish dance.

For students with a competitive streak, we help to train them for Irish dance competitions (feiseanna). Competitions are optional activities within the school - they require dedication from the dancer that is beyond that of the average student. But the hard work is worth the effort and is something we highly encourage our students to try.
